Element And Atoms

ELEMENT

       The Substance which cannot be decomposed into other substances.

ATOM

       The smallest particle of an element which takes part in chemical reaction is called Atom.
       All matter is composed of atoms which are infinitesimally small.
       All atoms are made up of electrons proton and neutrons.

Electron

       Mass of Electron= 9.11*10^-31 Kg
       Charge of Electrons= -1.602*10^-19    Coulomb

Proton

        Mass of Proton= 1.67*10^-27 Kg
        Charge of Proton= +1.602*10^19 Coulomb

Neutron

        Mass of Neutron= 1.67*10^-27 Kg
        Charge of Neutron= Nil

Proton is positively charge , Electron is Negatively charge  while Neutron is neutral in nature.
